Theresa Drake

Theresa Drake has been President and CEO of Tactix Consulting Group, Inc., since founding the company in 1993.  Under her leadership, Tactix has been listed in the Cincinnati Business Courier as one of the area's top 25 consulting and training companies, top 25 training and education companies and top 25 women-owned businesses for most of the past years. In 1998 Tactix received the prestigious Pinnacle Award, which is presented to fastest growing companies in the Tri-State.  In 2006 and again in 2007 Tactix was awarded the recognitions as one of Ohio's top 50 women owned businesses and one of the top 50 Diversity Owned business by Diversity.com.

This year on March 1, 2008, Tactix celebrates 15 years in business. The company has grown to provide multiple offerings locally, nationally and on an international basis. Tactix offers Technology Consulting Services and supports technology and leadership growth with a full service Training & Education facility. Both commercial businesses and government agencies make up the customer base for Tactix. Tactix was recognized by both the Federal government and the State of Ohio with a Term Schedule Award. The City of Cincinnati recognizes Tactix as a certified woman owned small business in their SBE/WBE program.

Prior to establishing Tactix, Theresa held various management and consulting positions for the Computer Horizons Corporation from 1985-1992. While at Computer Horizons, Theresa identified and developed new accounts, negotiated customer contracts, managed and staffed branch offices, and managed and supported projects for clients such as General Electric and Cincinnati Milacron.

She also served in various technology roles for Super Food Services, Cincinnati, Ohio; Midwestern Group Insurance, Milford, Ohio; and First National Bank of Southwestern Ohio, Hamilton, Ohio.

Theresa attended the College of Mount St. Joseph and earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Computer Programming from Southern Ohio College.

She a member of various organizations such as AITP, ASTD, and both the Cincinnati and Dayton Chamber of Commerce.  Most recently, Theresa became a volunteer counselor with SCORE to help provide assistance to other businesses.

Theresa has two children, (Candice and Aaron) and three grandchildren (Ryan, Alyssa & Ashlyn). She was born in March, 1957 in Middletown, Ohio and is currently living in the Cincinnati area. In her leisure time she enjoys activities such as gardening, reading, boating and ATV riding with her family.
